Let the fun begin! Giveaways are here!

Well with a new year, I wanted to try some new fun....what can be more fun than a free giveaway!

During the holiday break I made several of these kid towels for presents. They were fun to make, simple and let's just say, the one that stayed in our house has become a hit!

I know this is only the back view, tried to get a photo of him with the hood over his face, but he was too quick and enjoyed running away from me with his "towel monster" on.

So to pass along the fun to my followers I am offering a free personalized towel in green (with your choice of pink or brown accents) and a handmade kid soap set to the winner of this giveaway.

Here's how you can enter- you must complete all three requirements.

3. Leave a comment on this blog posting with your preference of color accent and the initial you would like embroidered on your towel if you win.

There are great not only if you have small children, but make for great presents too, so don't shy away from participating just because you don't have a small child.

Bowling Boys

If you aren't a subscriber to Family Fun magazine and you have small children in your home, you should definitely look into a subscription. It's such a fantastic magazine with a lot of fun projects, ideas, cooking tips and such.

That's where I discovered the Bowling Boys idea.

I made these little guys for my son, and while they were intended to be a Christmas stocking stuffer...he got them a little early because once I finished making them he saw them and loved them.

I picked up the wood pieces at my local Michaels and used left over ribbon from my stash with some craft glue and a Sharpie. The best bouncy ball was from my Old Navy store in the jumbo $.25 trap they have. Super easy to whip up and a cute little addition this holiday season!

Fruit Buddy

I know this is more of a crafty blog than a mommy blog, but my little guy and I discovered these at Publix the other day. While he's a great fruit and veggie kind of guy, I can never resist offering him healthy snacks during the day. Seems like we tend to go through a lot of fruit snacks, which I am trying to get away from. 

So here's his favorite new things, Buddy Fruits, although MJD calls them "fruit buds"

They were $1 each, which seemed like a little much, but he LOVES them, and I'd rather pay to keep him healthy than pay to make him healthy when he's sick.
